We are pleased to announce that the 10th Annual Conference and Masterclass 2017 will be held at the Portola Hotel and Spa, Monterey Bay, California, between Monday 3rd July and Friday 7th July 2017. The Masterclass will take place on Monday the 3rd and Tuesday the 4th of July 2017 and the Conference will take place between Wednesday the 5th of July and Friday the 7th of July 2017. The conference will be of interest to all professionals (academic researchers, law enforcement agencies, Government and International bodies, Judges, lawyers & students) involved in the investigation of crime and misconduct, the interviewing of victims, witnesses & suspected offenders, interview training and policy, interview decision-making processes, detecting deception, forensic linguistics, and high interest detainees.
The 2017 Conference and Masterclass offers delegates a diverse programme of professional and leisure activities in the beautiful surroundings of Monterey Bay. The two-day Masterclass, led by Colonel Steve Kleinman and Dr Christian Meissner, will be focusing on intelligence interviewing. It will explore the emerging research reshaping investigative and intelligence interviewing. We will also be hearing from three fascinating keynote speakers: Mark Fallon, Ex-Assistant Director for Training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center within the Department of Homeland Security, USA; Dr Christopher E Kelly, Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice at Saint Joseph University; and Mark Severino, Detective Supervisor in the Los Angeles Police Department.
